Not only does this pattern include over 30 step-by-step photos with detailed instructions, but I also have included a comprehensive knot guide and a supplemental video for one of the challenging sections of the wall hanging!
SKILL LEVEL: INTERMEDIATE RECOMMENDED
A complete beginner may find this project quite challenging, so it is recommended to be familiar with the major macramé knots before attempting. However, I have included a knot guide and additional resources for any beginners who are patient and determined to make this their first project!
Materials Needed:
- ~150 ft of 5mm rope
- 12" dowel or branch
- 4" metal hoop
- Measuring tape
- Scissors
- Optional:
- S-hooks & working rack to suspend project while working
- thin 12" dowel for bottom row of knots
Knots used in this project:
- Square Knot
- Classic Lark's Head Knot
- Clove Hitch / Double Half Hitch Knot
Measurements for the completed piece: 12" across x approximately 18" long (length varies by preference)
